Zetta 1024 Tire Inflator

My wife was going through a point where she would lose air in her tires, and we weren't able to get it fixed right away. We kept this in her car so she could re-inflate in an emergency and it worked great! This is perfect to keep on hand for emergencies and works really well for such a small machine! I am very impressed with it so far. Easy to use and it's rechargable which is a huge plus!

This is a compact powerhouse of a compressor, one that is super easy to use, works on a variety of items (car, motorcycle, bike tires; basketballs and soccer balls etc.) This comes with everything you need to properly inflate items, with the exception of a power block. It includes the USB cord but not the block. There are 5 nozzles/attachments. The big ones are all of good quality; the smaller ones are fine but maybe not as robust. Time will tell.

I needed to bump the tire pressure up on my spouse’s car, because all 4 were low. I used the car tire attachment, turned it on, selected car, adjusted the PSI and in 7-8 minutes (including the time to move from tire to tire) all 4 tires were done. The unit sounds like a compressor, so yes it is loud. It didn’t get as hot as I expected however, and it didn’t drain the battery as quickly as I thought it would either. I topped off 4 tires for the cost of less than one bar of battery. Do note that it takes a while to charge, and that you can’t use it while it is plugged in because it doesn’t have a pass through option. There is a velvet drawstring case that fits everything nicely. I personally would have liked a more rugged fabric maybe with a Velcro closure. The one thing that gave me pause about this product is its accuracy, but I think it is close enough, with car tires at least, to maintain the 5-star rating. I filled one of the tires to 36 PSI and it was up at 38 when we started to drive. That said, I know that pressure fluctuates with temperature and increases around 1 PSI per 10° F increase in temperature. We used the car right after I filled the tires, so the air temp did not suddenly jump 20° although the tire could have heated up some on our 20 min ride. I released some air and then pumped it back to 34.5 PSI this time; it showed up on the car app as 35, which is close enough for me. So if you have a car app that gives you your tires’ air pressure double check your work with that. Overall a good little compressor for household use and to keep you from having to lug a big compressor out or find a gas station with air.

Cons
Slow, but not really a big deal in most situations. It seems as fast as my other portable inflator that is 5 times the size.

This portable tire inflator is great to have in your home and/or car. I hate the one i have because its loud, it blows fuses / over heats and also has a long cord that plugs into the cigarette outlet.

This is battery operated and doesn't appear to have a fuses... and hopefully wont over heat.

I tested this is two scenarios:

1. Flat tire on a Car. In the video, i have a SUV with a flat (well, about 5 psi left in the tire). I used the pump which is fully charged up and it took 8 minutes 42 seconds to fully inflate. The tire on the mazda is a 225/55R19, so its a good size tire. The auto stop kicked in and using my tire pressure gauge it landed on 38PSI. The tire gauge on the pump claims to be +/1 1.5 PSI, so this is fine.
Yes, this is slow, but its better than fast and over heating and blowing fuses every time. I suspect its slow for that reason. Besides, waiting 8 or 10 minutes is better than waiting for AAA for hours.

2. I have a hybrid bicycle that uses 75-100 PSI, it took about 2 minutes and auto stopped at the 90PSI setting, Measuring it it was 86, a little low. After inflating the tires from the two scenarios the unit was flip flopping between 2 bars and 3 bars on the charge meter.

The unit makes you pick a category, if its set to car it will only allow you to go from 26.5 - 51.0, bicycle 30.0 - 145 PSI, etc. So read the manual.

The various adapters allow you to use it on bicycles, or the various balls used in sports. It comes with a sack to hold all the pieces. I wish it was a case, but a sack will do.

This is actually pretty great. Its way better than the one i have and way more useful too. (i dont have cigarette lighter ports anywhere else beside my car.)

This portable air compressor is well made. It charges very quickly if you use a fast charger.It takes a little bit of time to inflate my tires but it works. It's a great accessory to keep in your car.
